Arizona with Shane

A little back story..

I was born in Mesa, Arizona but spent my whole life in New Jersey. Going back to Arizona has been on my bucket list ever since I can remember, along with a few other amazing sights, like Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. This trip was also special to me because it was the first vacation Shane and I have experienced together, (and we didn't kill each other!)

We started the trip in Flagstaff. By the way, I had no idea there were forests and pine trees there!? We went to see Walnut Canyon and Meteor Crater here. They were two really cool places, which I recommend to go see if you're ever in the area. After that we drove our trusty rental car up to Page where we saw Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. Breathtaking to say the least.

After being in Page for three days, we drove down to Phoenix. We met up with Shane's childhood friend. Canaan is a professional racecar driver, so he gave us a tour of the place and then we went on the track! V Exhilarating.

Towards the end of the trip we made our way to Tucson where we were able to meet up with his younger sister, Lily. She was wrapping up her semester of University of Arizona, so we were able to check out the campus and help her pack up.

Sorry for the long post, let's get to the good stuff. Photos are in chronological order of the trip!

Vegas - San Francisco - LAX - Home

What a trip! It started in Vegas. As a team, we attended HAI which is the largest helicopter expo in the world. After the expo, FlyNYON hosted the official after party at Omnia Nightclub, where thousands attended. It was truly incredible to see our branding all over the club - we've come a long way.

Next stop was San Francisco. It rained most of the time, although the sun peaked out here in there. It was just enough for us to say hi to the sea lions, and snap a few shots of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Last stop, LA! FlyNYON did flights over the red carpet on Sunday, where I was able to meet A TON of awesome people. Josh peck and Casey Neistat to name a few. The influencers that flew, created vlogs of their experience, I'll attach the links below. After the flights, I was lucky enough to attend the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party for the second year in a row. I met and saw some of my favorite stars! Olympians, Jesse from Breaking Bad, Amber Rose, VS models were just a few of the celebs.

I am exhausted, but I would do it all over again. (Some of the photos are from my iPhone so sorry for the quality - I wasn't able to bring my camera to some of the places we went!)

FlyNYON Vegas

Last week I traveled to Vegas, and met up with Pat and Jill (my main peeps). We are super excited because we purchased our own hangar in Henderson, NV. The main goal of the trip was to design and decorate our new lounge and hangar (the first two photos). Jill and I spent most of our time shopping for furniture, consuming Starbucks and purchasing more succulents than I would like to admit. For this short trip we stayed at the Cosmo on The Strip - talk about views (photos to follow).

I was able to jump on a FlyNYON flight last minute, which was easily one of the best flights I've ever been on. The Red Rock Canyon is the most underrated national conservation I have ever witnessed. If you're in Vegas, it's a must.

Ringing in the New Year

For the past three years we have been going up to Vermont and staying in Jake's cabin. This year was extra exciting because Danielle couldn't make it last year. I finally got to see her after almost a year!!

The weekend consisted of snowboarding, drinking white Russians, and freezing our butts off. We had such a good time, we already booked our flight to Florida in two weeks!

First trip of the season

It's been a while! I'm back.

This past weekend I made my way up to Vermont with the regular crew. We bought season passes to Stratton Mountain this year, because we plan on making the most of this winter! We also celebrated my 24th birthday. We popped champagne and hit the slopes. Can't wait for New Years! Side note, I received a ton of awesome gifts this year, one of them includes an antler necklace courtesy of Mr. Steigs. Check it out!

Nevada

This past weekend I was lucky enough to travel to Nevada for a business trip. Our company, FlyNYON has recently expanded into Las Vegas and we went out to get the party started. We covered Life is Beautiful Festival from ground and air, getting content from every angle possible. We didn't sleep, drank a dangerous amount of red bull, worked our asses off, shot some guns, and ate more in-n-out than I'd like to admit. Here's a little taste of our weekend in Vegas.

Island Beach State Park

About a month ago I was fortunate enough to get a Jeep. I have been dying to take it to the beach (because duh). This past weekend I made it happen. I met some friends at Island Beach State Park, and watched them surf - below are some hilarious photos of Jeff deciding to abort mission. Michael made killer PB&J's, and I was able to soak up the last rays of summer. 'Twas a good day.

Amanda Comes to Visit

My friend Amanda from college visited me this weekend from New Hampshire. Friday we spent the night in Hoboken. We went out with some friends to a roof top bar. Saturday, we headed to Lake Hopatcong to spend the day on the lake with my co-workers. I wake surfed for the first time! (Shout out to Ayla and Chris for having us!)

Sunday we headed to the Pine Barrens. We took two Jeeps and my Lexus (lol I was pretending Lexi was a jeep) through deep mud holes, sand and pretty steep inclines. I was pretty surprised how well my car did on tough terrain, didn't get stuck once! Check out the pics to see what I'm talking about (insert laughing emoji here).

Once the sun started to set, we had to quickly make our way out of the woods before we got lost, since cell service does not exist in there. We were so hungry from adventuring, we hit up an old school diner. Of course, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and finished the night off with a birthday cake ice cream cone. Are you surprised?

Ortley Beach, New Jersey

The morning of the 4th of July, I headed down to Ortley beach to the Arthur's beach house. We ate some eggs for breakfast (courtesy of Cecilia's chickens), then headed to the beach for the day. We walked up and down the boardwalk (so much cardio...woof) and ate ice cream and waffles and a giant... GIANT slice of pizza. Unfortunately I ate it so fast there was no time for photos.

After the boardwalk, we made our way back to the house so we could go wake boarding on the bay! The sunset was killer. Other than feeling paralyzed from falling so hard, it was a successful day for sure, and I am glad I was able to spend it with some amazing people. We finished the night with fireworks on the beach. Perfect day? I think so.

The Hamptons round dos

I spent the weekend with my college friends in South Hampton. It consisted of drinking tequila and eating an obscene amount of tomato and mozzarella. We also made a watermelon filled with vodka jello shots... it looked awesome and tasted even better. Check out the pics mahn.

Los Angeles

Last week I was lucky enough to travel to California for work. The company I work for, FlyNYON, has now expanded to five cities across the United States. We had a large group flying in LA, so I was sent to organize and make their flights successful.

I was only there for two days, so the second day I was able to explore a little bit. My best friend since first grade drove all the way from San Francisco to spend the day with me. Naturally we explored LA, took a ton of photos, and spent too much money at Brandy Melville. Worth it? Yup.

Check out some of the snap shots from the trip.

Pups and Trucks

Headed north for a little weekend adventure. Shane bought a new jeep, the pictures just don't do it justice. After seeing this thing, I think it's time to trade Lexi in for a big rig.

The two pups featured are Camo and George. Pups and trucks, what could be better?

Kiawah Island

I have been coming to Kiawah Island since I was four months old. My parents had a place here while I was growing up, so it essentially became my second home.

Today we made a day trip into Charleston, we walked around and had fish for dinner. Needless to say, it's great to be back - even if it's just for a long weekend.

East Coast Creatives Insta Meet

Broke the rules and chased some waterfalls.

This weekend I went to my first ever "Insta meet." It's an event for photographers (or anyone really) who are looking to get out there and create.

Friday night I drove up to Connecticut (shout out to the Steigs fam) stayed the night, then made my way to Minnewaska State Park Saturday morning.  I drove up to the meet by myself, and for the first time in a long time, I felt shy (crazy I know).

We began our hike to the first location, Awosting Falls. A girl asked me "are you alone?" I instantly felt relief. Her name is Lizzie, and she became my subject for the rest of the day.

All in all, I am so happy I went and was able to meet a ton of awesome people who share the same interests as me. I will definitely be attending the next one.

Go follow them on Instagram - @Eastcoastcreatives to see everyones photos from the weekend!!

Florida

My college roommate of four years moved to Florida, and I finally made the trip down south to visit her this past weekend. I flew down with our best friend Courtney, and then we met up with Zuraya shortly after we landed. The four of us definitely know how to have a good time.

On Saturday we went to Disney World, and on Sunday we made a trip to Clearwater Beach. I think it's safe to say I will not be drinking Pina Colada's anytime soon (insert hungover face here).

LA, California

My boss texted me Friday afternoon saying, "Any weekend plans?" I replied "Nope haha." She then said, "What are your thoughts on flying to LA tomorrow?" Casually I said, "I'm down." Little did I know I would be flying over the Red Carpet for FlyNYON LA on Sunday for the Oscars.

Friday night we ate at this trendy Japanese Restuarant called Roku on Sunset Boulevard - I highly recommend it. Afterwards we went to SOHO House across the street, the drinks were on point.

My boss and CEO had two tickets to the Vanity Fair Oscar party, so naturally they were planning to attend. Somehow my CEO got me a last minute ticket, and we ended up walking into the party like straight bosses. Oh, and I held an Oscar statue, it's as heavy as Jennifer Lawrence said it would be.

48 hours later we landed back in Newark, NJ. Dang, I must have done something really good in my past life to deserve this.

Vermont

This weekend I drove up to Vermont with friends from college. It's always fun at Jake's cabin, here are a few moments.

Snow!

Last week, a little blizzard rolled through. Due to my hour long commute to work, I ended up not going in. Instead, I hit up my photo friends, ate some pizza and captured some cool moments.

Pups & Bones

Like any puppy parent, I'm obsessed with my two little guys, Levi and Jeter. My friends family started a new business, Buck Bone Organics, and the pups are lucky enough to get spoiled with their favorite treats.

Shoe Selfie

My new shoes came in the mail yesterday! What better way to show them off than to capture a FlyNYON Shoe Selfie. I call these my spicy heels. P.S. Christi (Pilot) inspired me to get these shoes, so we could match.
